Merge Visible is the second installation of a continuing project that began in November of 2011 in New York with the exhibition Flatten Image. Each group show features a similar but rotating roster of artists whose individual practice may address questions of physical perception through sculpture and installation, redefining objects via photography or inventing new scenarios through the use of contemporary digital media. These works investigate the translation from object to image and vice versa; an incomplete list of the increasingly strange nature of representation.
